Purple Patches in Elite-Level Sports
The Truth Behind 'Runner's High' and Other Mental Benefits of Running
What's Gone Wrong for Clem Morfuni at Swindon
I  Visited the World's Happiest City — Here's What I Learned
The margins in elite-level sports are minuscule. From an external perspective, unobservable drops in concentration, motivation, or confidence, among other psychological factors, have significant implications on a team or athlete’s success.

There is reason to believe that those performing and succeeding at the elite level in sports are not vastly more talented, physically capable, or technically gifted than their peers who operate at a lower level.
You may have experienced it — that relaxing feeling after a good run. Often referred to as “runner’s high,” the experience is usually attributed to a burst of endorphins released during exercise. But is that truly an endorphin rush you’re feeling, or something else?
At best hopelessly incompetent, at worst, well, who knows was the consensus of large portions of the Swindon Town fanbase, after Australian owner Clem Morfuni ended his 6-month-long media hiatus. The growingly ambivalent atmosphere at the County Ground in recent months is an incredible juxtaposition to the beginning of the Morfuni era.

Aarhus, Denmark’s seemingly perfect, utopian second city, has been crowned the world’s happiest city by the 2024 Happy City Index.

If a simulation creator were to design an idealised city blending culture, opportunity, and happiness, Aarhus would be its closest manifestation on earth.

Toxic Masculinity in Football: Social Media Reactions to the Benjamin Mendy Case
Can Reporting of Queen Elizabeth II's Funeral be Considered Impartial or Propaganda?
How Have Connotations Around 'Britishness' Changed During the 21st Century
Why Micro-Influencers Are the Future of Running Fashion Marketing on Instagram
How toxic masculinity manifests within professional men’s football culture, using the social media discourse surrounding Benjamin Mendy’s sexual assault case as a case study.

The research reveals patterns of male solidarity in defending accused athletes, the shaming of ‘male feminists,’ and the marginalization of emotional struggles in men, all set against the backdrop of a hyper-masculine sporting environment
This paper analyses UK media coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral, comparing it against Chomsky's mass media filters and Harrison's objectivity rituals to assess bias and propaganda.

It explores sensational language, selective quoting, and profit-driven reporting, while also examining the lack of diverse perspectives in mainstream coverage, revealing varying degrees of media bias.
This essay explores the evolution of British national identity, examining historical perspectives and modern shifts influenced by globalisation, multiculturalism, and changing attitudes toward the monarchy.

It analyses media representations of Britishness and how national pride has been weaponised for political purposes, while also addressing issues of race, tradition, and generational differences in patriotic expression.
This article explores how micro-influencers are transforming the running fashion landscape on Instagram.

It analyses why smaller, niche creators with highly engaged audiences can offer brands more authentic connections, better ROI, and greater storytelling power compared to traditional celebrity endorsements. The piece will also provide strategies for running brands to effectively collaborate with micro-influencers for maximum impact.
